Firing service for externals

Firing service for outside customers, without a side list

Customers drop off their pieces, you estimate the cost, the order goes into the next firing. No membership account, no side list.

Intake in two minutes

Name, contact, optionally a photo of the pieces. No account, no password, no invitation.

  • Customers need no account. Next time they come back, you'll find them again.
  • Notes on the order: glaze, special requests, warnings
  • Orders stay separate from members and open studio

Customers register their pieces online

Your website gets a sign-up form for the firing service. Customers pick the firing type, enter how many pieces and roughly how heavy, and see the expected price right away.

  • A form you embed on your website, in your studio’s look
  • The expected price while they fill it in
  • A confirmation email with the order number
  • The order lands in your list, and you weigh again at drop-off

The price is set before the kiln starts

You weigh at intake and immediately see the price for the chosen firing type. Your customers know where they stand before the pieces go in.

  • Cost estimate right at intake
  • External rates per firing type, separate from member plans
  • A minimum per order, if you have one
  • Once fired, the price is final

From the counter into the kiln

You load an accepted order into the next suitable firing. Afterwards you mark it paid and picked up.

  • Orders and member pieces in the same firing
  • Kiln hire: a whole kiln or a shelf share at a fixed price
  • Extra charges after the firing, say for a damaged shelf
  • Paid and picked up, per order

Drop-off and pickup without phone calls

Customers book their own drop-off and pickup times within the hours you set. When the order is ready, they get a reminder with the link to book pickup.

  • Drop-off and pickup times switch on separately
  • A limit per slot, so the counter never gets crowded
  • Booked slots in your calendar and on the order list
  • A pickup QR in the email, one scan opens the order
